Under the direction of USG, Pact Nigeria is pleased to announce the release of its Request for Applications (RFA) -10-001 under USAID Cooperative Agreement No: GPH-A-00-01-00007-00: Provision of Quality Comprehensive Services to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in both Ekiti, Nassarawa, and Niger States of Nigeria. Deadline for submission of proposal is 5pm, local Abuja time on Wednesday 22 September, 2010.

Under the direction of USG, Pact Nigeria is pleased to announce the release of its Request for Applications (RFA) -10-002 under USAID Cooperative Agreement No: 620-A-00-09-00006-00: Provision of Prevention Services (Promoting Abstinence and Fidelity) in both Ekiti and Ondo States of Nigeria. Deadline for submission of proposal is 5pm, local Abuja time on Wednesday 22 September, 2010.

Note: Only organisations working in Ekiti and Ondo States can apply for funding under this RFA.

The purpose of this Request for Application (RFA) is to disseminate information and to solicit applications for funding from prospective NGO, CBO, and FBO grant recipients. This RFA describes the program objectives, explains the technical area of focus, qualifications of organizations applying, criteria for evaluating applications and provides information on funding, application format and other relevant information.

All interested applicants are invited to the Pre-Bidders’ Meetings. The meetings will discuss the program and will provide the applicants the opportunity to ask questions and get clarifications. The meetings will be held in each state as follows:

Ekiti State venue is Southwestern Hotel, Km2, polytechnic Road, Ado Ekiti. 7 September, 2010.

Nassarawa State venue is Ta'al Hotel, Lafia. 1 September, 2010.

Niger State venue is Hydro Hotel, Opposite Abdulsalam Youth Centre, Minna. 1 September, 2010.

Ondo State venue is Royal Bird Motel, Ijapo Estate, Akure. 8 September, 2010.

Participants are responsible for their costs including travel to and from the venue as well as other associated costs. Pact will manage the meeting costs and refreshments will be provided during the workshop.

However Pact staff will not answer any questions directly regarding this RFA and no phone calls will be accepted. All questions must be submitted in writing to questions@pactnigeria.org . Pact will not reply directly, rather all answers to relevant questions will be posted Friday 9 Septemeber, 2010 on the website.
