Pays Advocacy visit to the chairman of INEC

TUESDAY, 20TH MARCH 2007

PRESS STATEMENT

The Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) is, indeed, happy to have an opportunity to meet with the Election authorities in a bid to express our opinions and views about what concerns us most. This has certainly been done in a frank an open manner.

We had nursed several fears about the fact of the Commission not taking into account persons with
disabilities in its dealings considering that the Electoral
act 2006 clearly states it should do so While we are glad to have had positive
responses to our questions and queries,                                      More..
